"Ingredients:

- 1 block of firm tofu

- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch

- 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil

- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced

- 1 carrot, julienned

- 2 cloves of garlic, minced

- 1 tablespoon of minced fresh ginger

- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce

- 1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce

- 1 green onion, thinly sliced

- 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds

Directions:

1. Drain the tofu and press it for 15 minutes to remove excess water. Cut the tofu into cubes and toss them in cornstarch until they are fully coated.

2. In a wok or large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and fry them until they are golden brown and crispy on all sides. This should take about 10 minutes. Remove the tofu from the pan and set it aside.

3. In the same pan, add the bell pepper and carrot. Stir-fry them for 5 minutes, or until they are tender. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for another minute.

4. Return the tofu to the pan. Add the soy sauce and hoisin sauce and stir until the tofu and vegetables are well coated. Cook for another 2 minutes to heat through.

5. Transfer the stir-fry to a serving dish. Garnish with the green onion and sesame seeds before serving.
